1. Services
Northline Web Studio ("we," "us," "our") provides web design, development, SEO, digital strategy, content writing, website audits, and maintenance services as described in our project proposals and service agreements.
2. Project Scope & Changes
Each project is defined by a scope of work agreed upon in writing before work begins. Any changes to the scope may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms are outlined in each project proposal. Typically, projects are billed in milestone payments: 50% at kickoff, 25% at design approval, and 25% at launch. Invoices are due within 15 days of receipt.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client owns the final website design and content. Northline Web Studio retains the right to display the work in our portfolio and use any underlying frameworks or tools developed for the project.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide timely feedback, content, and access to necessary accounts and systems. Delays caused by the client may result in extended timelines and additional costs.
6. Limitation of Liability
Northline Web Studio's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate a project with 14 days written notice. The client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in Mecklenburg County, NC.
